Udhampur Police Attaches Property Worth ₹55 Lakhs

*Udhampur Police Attaches Property Worth ₹55 Lakhs of Drug Peddler Mohd Kesh of Jammu* Udhampur Police continued its firm commitment to the *Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyaan.* The department reiterated its resolve to intensify action against drug peddlers while simultaneously creating awareness to safeguard the youth from the menace of drugs. Udhampur Police has attached an immovable property worth ₹55 lakhs belonging to drug peddler *Mohd Kesh S/O Sher Ali R/O Sunjwan, Sainik Colony, Jammu* under Section 68-F of the NDPS Act. The attachment has been made in connection with *FIR No. 44/2026 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act of Police Station Majalta.* During the course of investigation, it came to fore that the accused had acquired the newly constructed residential house from the proceeds of illicit narcotics trade. Accordingly, the said property has been attached/seized under the provisions of Section 68-F of the NDPS Act for further legal proceedings.
